Another cold morning is taking over much of the inland valley communities Wednesday morning. A freeze warning will remain in place through 10:00 a.m. for the inland valley communities in San Luis Obispo County. Early morning temperatures could drop as low 26 degrees while the warning is in place. The same area could experience even colder overnight and morning temperatures Thursday and Friday as a hard freeze warning will go into effect and last until Friday at 10:00 a.m. During this time frame, overnight temperatures could be as low as 23 degrees.
Daytime highs Wednesday will be seasonal and mild. Daytime highs for the coastal and inland valleys will be right around the mid to upper 70s, while the coastline will remain close to the mid-60s.
Major wind events are taking over both northern and southern California, but in comparison, the Central Coast will be fairly moderate. Northwesterly winds will range from 15-25 miles per hour from the early afternoon through the early evening hours.
For those heading out for Halloween festivities, the trick-or-treat forecast looks good. There's nothing spooky about that forecast as you can expect clear skies and temperatures around the low to mid-60s Thursday evening.
