A dry weather pattern has taken over much of the state, resulting in gusty winds and fire weather warnings. Compared to our neighbors to the north and south of San Luis Obispo and Santa Barabra Counties, wind conditions will be moderate.
Santa Lucia, or northeasterly, winds are back in the forecast Friday morning. Weather models are indicating that winds will be the strongest throughout the morning and early afternoon and range from 10 to 30 miles per hour. The breezy conditions will continue through early Saturday morning before tapering off Saturday afternoon.
Temperature-wise, temperatures are continuing to trend up. Temperatures along the coast will be right around the 70s Friday, while the coastal and inland valley communities will be close to the 70s and 80s.
