Wednesday is our last day of cooler temperatures before things start to really heat up.
While temperatures in the morning hours will still be on the cooler side, our inland areas will likely see triple digits by Friday.
The wind is still a big factor Tuesday as gusts have been strong enough to prompt a small craft advisory.
In our inner waters, like where crews are working on the recovery mission of the conception, the advisory is set to expire Wednesday morning.
For our outer waters, the advisory is extended until Thursday.
A more "sizeable" jump in temperatures is anticipated Thursday as well as a lowering of our humidities.
The potentials for fire weather will heighten back up over the next few days.
Both CalFire SLO and Santa Barbara County Fire say they are not increasing staffing levels just yet, but things can change over the next few days.
Enjoy the cooler weather while it lasts.
