The fog that has been filling in over the area in the overnight hours will produce areas of patchy drizzle through the morning commute. A lot of that moisture will be over the coastal valleys and beaches. Low pressure is now building over the state so, in combination with the onshore flow, most cities along the coast and in the coastal valleys will be a few degrees cooler Wednesday.

Daytime highs for the beaches will be around the mid to upper 60s and the coastal valleys will be from the low 70s to the low 80s. Although technically cooler, the inland valleys will still be right around the low to mid-90s.

Northwesterly winds will increase by the afternoon, ranging from 15-25 miles per hour.
