Monday saw cooler than normal temperatures as low pressure lingers in the area, but a small warming trend is expected as the week gets underway.

Patchy fog looks to return overnight Tuesday and as a ridge of high pressure moves over the region, the low pressure trough moves out, but will bring some more cloud coverage.

On Tuesday, daytime highs at the beach look to reach low 60's, mid-60's for the coastal valleys and low 60's inland.

Isolated thunderstorms and showers cannot be ruled out for San Luis Obispo County, but they are not likely.

Northeasterly winds will produce breezy conditions Monday with winds from 15-25 miles per hour through Monday night.

Warmer than normal conditions should hang around the area into Friday, then another trough of low pressure will come in.

We could see rainfall again as early as Friday over San Luis Obispo County and northern mountain slopes. Winds could additionally pick up to advisory levels across Santa Barbara County this coming weekend.
