Thursday will be a cooler day with partly cloudy skies. Drivers can expect patchy morning fog and clouds through the morning commute with temperatures in the 40s and 50s. The rain system that brought between 0.10'' and 0.20'' of rain is lingering along the south coast region and could bring some light sprinkles to Santa Barbara through 7:00 a.m.

By the afternoon, expect mostly clear skies and gentle to moderate southerly winds from 10-15 miles per hour. Temperatures will also be on the cooler side, and some cities will struggle to reach seasonal averages.

The beaches, coastal valleys, and inland valleys will stay close to the upper 50s to the mid-60s Thursday.

Looking ahead to the weekend, conditions will be warmer and skies will be mostly clear. Daytime highs will generally be from the mid-60s to the mid-70s as offshore develops through the start of next week.
