Sunday was full of sunshine and mild temperatures for the Central Coast, with several areas warmer than Saturday afternoon.
The big story Sunday was the strong wind gusts around Santa Barbara County - places like Gaviota saw gusts over 50 mph!
These strong winds are continuing into Monday and because of this, several advisories extend into Monday morning like our High Surf Advisory and the Wind Advisory in Santa Barbara County.
This wind event will be transitioning to a northeastern Santa Ana event Monday into Tuesday, which could lead to another set of advisories.
Periods of fog and drizzle are possible Monday but our microclimate model looks clear otherwise.
Temperatures in the afternoon will be warmer than we had Sunday, before cooling off significantly in the evening.
Temperatures will cool along the coast Tuesday, but stay warmer inland during the day.
Evening temperatures will get close to or below freezing in some of our interior valleys by Tuesday.
Have a great week!
