Saturday was full of sunshine as well as some really strong winds along the southern Santa Barbara County coast.
Wind gusts in places like the Gaviota Hills were around 44 mph.
Because of these strong winds, there is a Wind Advisory in southern Santa Barbara County that continues until 3 a.m. Sunday.
The strong winds are also generating high surf along the Central Coast, with wave heights up to 16 ft through Monday morning!
We also have a Gale Warning and Small Craft Advisory as well, making for some very difficult conditions out on the water.
We are tracking the possibility of some light showers in northern San Luis Obispo County Monday and Tuesday mornings but there won't be very much precipitation until a storm moves in on Thursday.
Preliminary rainfall totals appear to be .50"-.75".
With this comes cooler temperatures as well until things start to slightly warm and dry by Friday.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
