It was another windy day for the Central Coast Saturday, with some areas seeing wind gusts over 60 miles per hour!

These strong winds are going to continue into Sunday, prompting several advisories to be extended through Sunday evening.

Our high wind warning for Santa Barbara County expires Sunday at 12p.m. and the fire weather warning expires Sunday at 10 p.m.

Sundowner wind gusts for the south coast are anticipated to be 40-60 mph, with isolated gusts up to 75 mph near the Montecito Hills.

Out on the water, we have a small craft advisory and high surf advisory.

The strong winds are generating high surf of 8-11 ft.

Winds will start to taper off Sunday afternoon ahead of temperatures starting to climb through Monday.

Some of our valley areas will be back in the 90's by Tuesday.
