It was a nice and sunny Saturday for much of the Central Coast.

Temperatures rose nearly 10 degrees from Friday afternoon.

High pressure will rebuild over the region this weekend into next week, resulting in warming trend that begins Sunday.

More significant warming expected early next week as offshore winds strengthen.

Triple digit heat is likely for valleys starting Monday, with highs reaching 90's for some coastal areas.

Not a lot of change from Sunday to Saturday is expected, though likely a somewhat shallower marine layer and by afternoon some light offshore trend.

Small Craft Advisory has been issued across outer waters continuing through later Saturday.

Poor humidity recoveries are expected in mountains and foothills during this time, meaning fire danger will be extremely present.

Stay hydrated!
