Good Morning Central Coast! We made it to Friday, here is a look at what we can expect.

As we kick off our Friday there is a few areas of fog lingering in the interior valleys and surrounding Paso Robles this morning. Take added precautions on the roads where visibility may fall.

Chilly temperatures this morning will be replaced by a warming trend as we head into the afternoon. Most locations will be 3-5 degrees warmer than yesterday .

There is a very slight chance of a few showers moving through the interior valleys and highest elevations Friday evening. I think this is a very small chance but could still occur as an area of instability moves across the interiors. At most this would be a few short lived patches of light rain.

Saturday will be filled with sunshine and slightly warmer conditions once again. Sunday the pattern will change slightly with the addition of some more marine influence in the morning hours. We know morning fog here on the Central Coast but we just haven't seen any in a while.

Next week is starting to look drier than previously expected as some of the cold fronts that will pass through the region will run out of moisture before we see it. Each of these systems will drop temps but not too much else is expected. There are two cold fronts ready to work across the area Monday and Tuesday of next week. Those fronts could produce some light showers, but the larger impact will be windy conditions and cooler temperatures.

Again, the extended outlook has changed a lot over the last few days. Models now don’t show any significant storms into nearly the middle of April. Temps also look to creep back to near average in the 8–14-day time-frame.

Have a great weekend Central Coast!
