Good morning Central Coast!
The last few weekends have brought non-ideal conditions but that is going to change as we move into a wonderful warm and dry forecast.
Today highs nearing 70 is expected with a lot of sunshine! Get outside and enjoy it as this is probably the best day of the weekend!
Offshore winds are in place thanks to a ridge of high pressure that has replaced the rainy pattern the last few days has brought. Those winds also aid in the warming we will see today.
This will produce a nice weekend though Friday's temperatures will likely be warmer than weekend temperatures by a few degrees.
Later Sunday into Monday morning a weak cold front crosses the Central Coast dissipating as it does so. It could produce a few light showers late Sunday evening or night into the pre-morning hours Monday.
As we move into a wonderful weekend sunshine is on tap plus even more sun next week.
I checked out our expected 8-14 day forecast too and the sunny and warm pattern looks to continue into the later portion of this month!
