High pressure will build over the Central Coast over the weekend, resulting in 15-25 mile per hour offshore winds and warmer daytime highs. For the beaches, maximum temperatures could reach the mid to upper 70s and the coastal valleys will be from the upper 70s to the mid-80s.
Before the weekend starts, a trough of low pressure is still lingering over the state Friday morning. This means partly cloudy skies throughout the morning commute and mostly sunny skies by the afternoon. The beaches will be in the 60s and the coastal and inland valleys will be in the 70s.
The start of next week looks warm, but the end of the week could be cloudy and cool with the possibility of light rain.
