For those who are ready for the return of cooler weather, you're in luck. Temperatures will start to trend down Wednesday as a low pressure system passes over the Pacific Northwest. During that time frame, daytime highs will mostly be in the 60s for the beaches and in the 70s for the coastal and inland valley communities.
Another factor in the forecast will also be the return of marine layer and fog. Right now, weather models are showing the foggy conditions will develop Tuesday night and linger through Wednesday morning before burning off.
Monday's forecast will be fairly similar to Sunday's conditions. Expect temperatures around the low 70s for the beaches, the mid-80s for the coastal valleys, and low to mid-90s for the inland valleys. Gentle northwesterly winds will be anywhere from five to 20 miles per hour Monday and skies will be mostly clear.
