Temperatures are continuing to heat up Wednesday. The inland valleys will reach the mid to upper 90s, but it's likely some areas like Atascadero could break 100 degrees. Much of the coastal valleys will also be warming up Wednesday, with daytime highs from the upper 70s to low 80s. As the winds increase, conditions will clear at the coast and daytime highs will be close to the low 70s.

Besides the heat, the winds will continue to be a factor. Sustaining northwesterly winds will generally be around 15 miles per hour, but wind gusts could reach 25 mph for much of the coastal and interior valleys. The area between Refugio and Gaviota will be especially windy with wind gusts around 40 mph. A wind advisory hasn't been issued yet, but it's likely one will be issued Santa Barbara County Wednesday afternoon.
