Offshore winds and weak afternoon winds will allow temps to get off to the races: just add plenty of sun and you get 80s and 90s for the coastal valleys and inland areas and even beaches will see mid 70s to nearly 80.
Saturday looks like the warmest day with only slight cooling Sunday.
Models are finally in better agreement in the extended forecast with a trough digging into The West Monday. Looks like a low cuts off to the east of us, too far away to deliver moisture. It will aid a cooldown and more marine influence Monday. However Tuesday it moves south which will put us in an offshore position for a bump in temps. Wednesday also looks on the warm side. Later next week a more significant and colder trough digs in and temps drop dramatically late next week and we could even see drizzle or showers.
Fall begins Monday (astronomical fall, meteorological fall already started) and the weather looks to follow suit with these kind of transitions becoming more common.
