Seafood restaurant Bayside Cafe in Morro Bay is staying open during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dawn Borst, the owner of Bayside Cafe for 34 years, says the business has many loyal customers, so she is doing all that she can to keep their doors open and their employees working.

Though many families may not cook up a special feast for Easter Sunday due to the pandemic, Borst says she hopes her menu will provide options for local community members.

"They can't have friends and family over, but they can come over here and get a meal," said Borst.

To ensure the safety of customers and employees, the restaurant has also set up Plexiglass sheets where people would order their food.

Customers can order from Bayside Cafe by checking out their menu online, calling in their order and picking up their food at the restaurant's doorstep.

Community members can reach Bayside Cafe by calling 805-772-1465 or visiting their website here.
