Good morning! The high pressure that's kept our temperatures above normal, will stick around all week long, but don't expect the air to dry out for awhile. It's going to feel muggy. Monsoonal moisture is streaming up from the south, bringing some scattered showers to the Central and South Coasts, though so far, there's been no lightning of the sort that swept through Los Angeles yesterday. That could change later in the day with a thunderstorm or two drifting into the Cuyama Valley and some areas of southeastern SLO County. For the next few days, our inland areas will see a gradual warming and by Friday, the mercury will be reaching into the triple digits. Along the coastline, we'll see mostly sunny skies this week, with temperatures in the upper 60s and 70s, though some spots will see only partial clearing of their low clouds and fog. Monsoonal moisture will bring a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms again Sunday and Monday for the beach and coastal regions. We have a slightly higher chance for lightning and thunderstorms than we did yesterday. Otherwise, high pressure just to the east of our area will keep temperatures generally above... Read Story ›
