Atascadero's 5th annual Pride in the Park event returned on Sunday at the Atascadero Lake Park.
Organizers say the event featured live entertainment and local vendors. There was also a display of panels from the AIDS memorial quilt, honoring the lives lost to HIV/AIDS.
Families at the event also got discounted tickets to the nearby Charles Paddock Zoo. Additionally, the event featured on-site wedding ceremonies, vow renewals, and a community blood drive.
