The Welcome Home Military Heroes 4th annual “Honor Our Veterans” Fundraiser is extra special this year because it is also celebrating the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

The event will be at the Gardens at Peacock Farms in Arroyo Grande on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be a keynote speech from San Luis Obispo County District Attorney and California Army National Guard  Lt. Colonel Dan Dow. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the event’s VIP Special Guests of Honor and the founders of Welcome Home Military Heroes.

There will be live music, a silent auction, a raffle, a fly-over, letter writing to deployed heroes, Si Tenenberg care packages for mailing to heroes, and other activities throughout the event.

Admission includes lunch, beverages, dessert and a glass of wine. Peacock Cellars will be pouring their award-winning wines, available for purchase by the glass or bottle.

The event sold out last year, so it is advised to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets are $25 per person (Non-Veteran) with a processing fee if purchased online. Veterans have free admission but do need to register for a ticket to attend. There will not be tickets for purchase at the door.
