Free Day at the Children’s Museum

Paso Robles Children’s Museum, 623 13th St., Paso Robles
Enjoy a free day a the museum with ice cream, educational crafts, and a raffle for a one-year membership to the museum. The free day is sponsored by A.M. Sun Solar, which just installed a new solar energy system at the museum.

Open Streets Santa Maria
11 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Main St. between Broadway and Rd., Santa Maria
Main Street will be shut down to all traffic, allowing the community to explore a variety of safe and healthy recreational activities, live music, dancing, yoga, a bike safety rodeo, lawn games, street hockey, and more.

Family Day at the PAC
2 p.m.
Performing Arts Center, 1 Grand Ave., San Luis Obispo
The main lobby of the PAC will be filled with crafts, activities and entertainment for the whole family, including face painting, live music, dancing, children’s stories, and The Amazing Max – an interactive magic show.

Orchid Show and Sale
9 a.m.- 5p.m., Saturday
10 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday
South County Regional Center, 800 W. Branch St., Arroyo Grande
A variety of orchids will be on display and judged by the American Orchid Society, plus vendors will offer a large selection of plants, orchid books, and orchid supplies for sale. The event will also include live demonstrations and plant “doctors” to help answer your questions.
