ARRESTS MADE IN SANTA BARBARA ASSAULT — According to a press release, early on Monday, December 9, 2019, Santa Barbara Police Officers responded to 300 Block of East Carrillo Street to investigate a report of intoxicated subjects arguing on the rooftop of an apartment building.
Upon arrival to the roof, officers found two male subjects and a female subject in a physical altercation. Thirty-two-year-old Christopher Alexander Huntfox assaulted the other male. Santa Barbara Fire and medics responded to the roof and worked to stabilize the victim. He was transported to Cottage Hospital.
Thirty-five-year-old Ashley Jolene Sharkey, was arrested and charged with resisting a police officer and attempting to destroy evidence.
Thirty-two-year-old Christopher Alexander Huntfox, also a Santa Barbara resident, was also arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Both Huntfox and Sharkey were transported to Santa Barbara County Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing.
