A local church spent Saturday giving back to the community in Lompoc. True Vine Bible Fellowship held a community day giveaway.
The church gave away free shoes, food, and haircuts. Organizers say they gave out one thousand pairs of name-brand shoes.
The pastor says the event is meant to show neighbors that they are valued and supported in the community.
