SpaceX is scheduled to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Saturday morning carry 24 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit.
The launch is expected to happen some time between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 8.
The Falcon 9’s first-stage booster is also making its 16th flight. The booster has previously supported several missions, including SDA missions, Transporter-16 and 12 previous Starlink launches.
After separating from the rocket, the booster is expected to attempt another landing on SpaceX’s drone ship Of Course I Still Love You, positioned in the Pacific Ocean.
SpaceX will webcast the mission live, with coverage beginning about 10 minutes before liftoff.
