The Santa Barbara County Fair kicks off Wednesday and you can get in for only a dollar.
Thousands of people from all over are expected to come see the best the county has to offer at the Santa Maria Fairpark.
This year’s theme is "Cowboys and Carousels."
Wednesday only, fair admission is just one dollar.
Be sure to check out the Musical Cowboys in the Discovery Pavilion where they perform everyday of the fair. Plus, many other entertainers will be performing around the fairgrounds.
"There’s nothing that beats the look on a child’s face when they see the carnival and the rides lit up especially at night and all the strolling acts and the excitement," said Santa Maria Fairpark spokesperson Shelly Cone. "It’s just a look of amazement and that’s priceless."
On Thursday, dancers from Allan Hancock College will perform on center stage.
This is the 127th year of the Santa Barbara County Fair.
The fair runs through Sunday, July 15 and is open from noon to 10 p.m. each day. General admission is $12, children ages 6-11 and seniors 62+ are $8, and kids 5 and under get in for free.
