San Luis Obispo Police responded to a single vehicle accident on Los Osos Valley Road in San Luis Obispo.
Officials say the vehicle ran into a fire hydrant near Higuera Street around 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
The collision did cause the fire hydrant to break, leading to large amounts of water flowing on the street.
Police advise to stay clear of the area as crews mop up.
