The Village of Arroyo Grande had a trick-or-treat event to give kids a safe place to pick up candy before nightfall.
On Wednesday, several streets in Arroyo Grande Village were closed from 2-6 p.m. so that kids could walk around. Many stores handed out candy to trick-or-treaters.
Organizers say the event has become popular with local families.
