A Lompoc man was hospitalized Sunday for a stab wound to his torso, police said.
According to Lompoc Police, officers were called to the intersection of D Street and North Avenue near the library around 12:50 p.m. for a reported stabbing.
Officers found the victim, identified only as an adult male, with a stab wound to the ribs area.
The victim was conscious when he was air lifted to the hospital, according to LPD.
The severity of the man’s injuries is unknown.
Police did not have a suspect in custody as of 3 p.m. Sunday but are working leads, according to LPD.
