Willow Lights in Nipomo offers holiday fun for the whole family

A group in Nipomo turned a ranch into a holiday festival for the entire family.

The Willow Lights have been a dream of the Power of God Christian Center in Santa Maria for years. It’s located on Willow Road and Hetrick in Nipomo.

The group’s founding pastor bought the ranch and wanted to turn it into a space to reach out to the community.

After he passed away in 2014, his family teamed up with the church to fulfill his dream.

Now, they’ve transformed the area into a community Christmas land.

“This is one of their dreams coming into fruition for the Ministry, and that is to reach out to the community and just let them know that we’re here if they need us,” said Monica Ayon of Power of God Christian Center.

This is the first year for Willow Lights.

It’s free to attend, and there are lights, train rides, food, and music.

On Saturday, there will be a special surprise.

It runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. all weekend.
