Seven people are displaced after a fire broke out at a Goleta apartment complex Friday night.
Santa Barbara County Firefighters said the fire was reported at 78 Magnolia Avenue at approximately 6:21 p.m. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found one two-story apartment fully-involved in flames.
Firefighters began an aggressive attack as the fire began to spread to neighboring units.

By the time it was contained, the apartment where it started sustained major damage. The neighboring apartment sustained minor damage.
No one was home when the fire started. A family of five lived in the severely damaged apartment. Two people lived next door. Red Cross is assisting both families.
Firefighters, Goleta city officials and building inspectors are on scene investigating the cause.
