Gorgeous weather continues for the Central Coast Sunday but the sunshine is fleeting.
Daytime highs will be above average again Sunday. Most locations will see upper 70s. Low 80s are expected in Santa Barbara and the Santa Ynez Valley.
Offshore flow will keep skies clear aside from a few high clouds.
However, by Sunday evening, the cloud cover will return. A trough will produce increasing clouds Monday. Temperatures will still be relatively warm but we will notice a downward trend in daytime highs throughout the work week.
There is a slight chance for showers Tuesday but models are backing off on that possibility. Onshore winds will return and support cooler temperatures.
The next chance for rain arrives late Thursday into Friday. Showers could continue into Saturday morning.
