Another warm day for the interior valleys

Posted
and last updated

Similar to Tuesday, Wednesday will be another warm day for the inland valleys. Daytime highs will range from the mid-80s to the low 90s, keeping temperatures above average for this time of year.

The coastal valleys and beaches will stay close to the low to upper 70s but temperatures are going to gradually decrease through the weekend.  Winds will continue to be calm Wednesday and are not expected to surpass 20 miles per hour.

A ridge of high pressure that’s over the state and responsible for the warmer temperatures will start to weaken Thursday. This trend will continue through the weekend and by Sunday an upper low is likely to develop over the area. This development will continue to bring marine layer and clouds as well as the opportunity for mid-level moisture for the area. Simultaneously, daytime highs will start to cool down back to the 60s and 70s for most of the area.
