After a low-pressure system brought rain, thunder, and lightning to the Central Coast Monday, Tuesday’s conditions will include increasing marine layer and fog along the coast and in the coastal valleys.

Weather models show there’s still a chance for drizzle along the coast, stretching into the south coast region in Santa Barbara County.

Daytime highs will continue to be below average Tuesday, mostly ranging from the low to upper 60s with warmer conditions in the interior valleys.

Starting Wednesday, a high-pressure system will build over the area. This will cause temperatures to be warmer through Friday. Within this window, daytime highs for the interior valleys are expected to reach the low 80s and the coastal valleys should back in the 70s.
