Drizzle expected throughout the morning commute before afternoon clearing

and last updated

Marine low clouds and fog will cover much of the area throughout the morning, and as a result, drizzle will be fairly widespread. However, weather models are showing more clearing for the beaches and coastal valleys by the afternoon. Winds will start to increase from 15-30 miles per hour by the afternoon, which will allow the marine layer and fog to clear out.

Daytime highs will continue to be mild for the interior valleys, ranging from the low to mid-80s. The coastal valleys are staying close to the upper 60s to low 70s and the beaches will be right around the mid-60s.

Winds will continue to be a factor in the forecast through the end of the week, which will help warm up temperatures along the coast.
