Firefighters are responding to a vegetation fire that broke out Friday morning near San Simeon.
According to Cal Fire officials, the fire is burning on the Rocky Butte Truck Trail, which is on a remote grassy hillside just outside of San Simeon.
Just before 7 a.m. fire officials said the fire was at a quarter-mile with a slow rate of spread.
