CAL FIRE has increased staffing due to warmer, dryer, and windier conditions expected Friday that increase the risk of fire.
With some areas already seeing well above-average temperatures, CAL FIRE has brought in three hand crews to San Luis Obispo and Camarillo and an additional hand crew to Ventura.
Additional dispatchers have also been brought in for a possible increase in calls.
CAL FIRE has also suspended burning in all areas.
Heat advisories have been issued Friday for both San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties.
