UPDATE (10:20 a.m.) - Caltrans reports both directions of Highway 154 near Cachuma Lake are now open following a head-on crash Friday morning.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the crash happened shortly after 8:30 a.m. about a quarter-mile east of the entrance to Cachuma Lake.
A pickup truck and a car reportedly collided head-on, causing the pickup to roll onto its side.
The female driver of the car had to be extricated from her vehicle. She reportedly suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital by helicopter. A girl in the car had minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital.
Fire officials say the driver of the pickup had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.

(9:32 a.m.) - Major injuries were reported in a crash Friday morning on Highway 154.
The crash between a truck and car reportedly happened shortly after 8:30 a.m. a quarter mile from the Cachuma Lake entrance.
According to the California Highway Patrol, lanes were blocked as of 9 a.m., but were expected to reopen within the hour.
A Sig Alert was issued for the area.
No other information was immediately available.
