A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Highway 192 in the Montecito area.
The California Highway Patrol says they were dispatched to the scene shortly before 7 a.m. Friday.
Officers say it's unknown when the man crashed, but it appears either Thursday night or early Friday morning he was heading westbound on the highway, east of Glen Oaks Drive, at an unknown speed when he drifted off the road and crashed his 2018 BMW motorcycle into a drainage culvert.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name has not yet been released.
