Santa Barbara County reported 91 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the county's total to 6,021 confirmed cases as of July 29.
Of the 349 active cases in the county, 79 people are hospitalized, including 24 patients who are in the ICU.
Active cases are defined as cases that are still infectious.
Health officials say 5,640 people have recovered.
Santa Barbara County has had 32 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
Health officials say 75,726 coronavirus tests have been conducted in the county so far. According to the Public Health Department's metrics website, about ten percent of tests have been positive over the past seven days.
Three free coronavirus testing sites are open to the community in Santa Barbara County. They are located at the Santa Maria Fairpark in Santa Maria, the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara, and at the AMR Central Training Center in Buellton.
