San Luis Obispo County added 20 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the county's total to 3,649 confirmed cases as of October 1.
Six people are hospitalized, including one patient who is in the ICU.
Another 196 people are recovering at home and 3,416 have recovered.
San Luis Obispo County has had 31 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

The location of one additional case is under investigation, and another six are listed as "other," which includes communities with fewer than five cases. The Public Health Department is not identifying those locations.
COVID-19 tests are currently available to the public in Arroyo Grande, San Luis Obispo, and Atascadero.
The pop-up testing clinic in Atascadero will be open through October 1.
Beginning October 5, testing will be available Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at the Paso Robles Event Center. Beginning October 6, tests will be available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at the Morro Bay Veterans Memorial Building.
