Rite Aid is now offering COVID-19 vaccination appointments at its stores in Arroyo Grande and Santa Maria.
The company says the vaccines are administered by a certified immunizing pharmacist, and people who receive their first dose of the vaccine at Rite Aid will be automatically scheduled for their second dose.
Those currently eligible for appointments include people 65 years of age and older, healthcare workers, long-term care residents and staff, pharmacy staff, and public health employees.

Rite Aid joins Vons, Albertsons, Ralphs, CVS, and Sav-On pharmacies that are offering the vaccine at some of their stores on the Central Coast.
