In the race for Santa Barbara County Clerk-Recorder-Assessor, incumbent Joseph E. Holland is being challenged by Elrawd MacLearn.
Holland was first elected to the office in March 2002.
Tuesday night, results showed Holland with a strong lead over MacLearn.
Holland had 81% of the vote while MacLearn had 17%.
