At least one person was trapped in a crash on Highway 1 outside Lompoc and near Vandenberg Air Force Base Thursday.
It happened shortly before 3:15 p.m. in the northbound lanes at Santa Lucia Canyon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles were involved.
Initial reports were that four people were injured with one person requiring extrication.
