The Los Angeles Dodgers Game 7 win against the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday was quite the birthday gift for Henry Barba.

Barba, who turned 105 on Friday, celebrated at the park in Santa Margarita with family and friends Sunday.

He was born Oct. 19, 1913. He joked he has seen a couple things change in the world since then but overall he says being 105-years-old is not too shabby.

He says he never dreamed he would get to this age. At an early age, he was diagnosed with a heart problem.

“And today I’m 105. I’m not bragging but what do you do?” Barba laughed. “Someone, somebody was wrong.”

His advice to anyone trying to get to his age? Take it one day at a time.

As for his Dodgers, Barba said they have a good chance to beat the Boston Red Sox.

“I think if they get together and start hitting like they did last night, they could take them,” he said.

Barba said he remembers listening to the Dodgers win the World Series in 1988 through a radio.
