The Pismo Beach Police Officer’s Association gave away free meals to people on the Central Coast.

Dinner was given to all who were in attendance for the 35th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner, but the police association tries to prioritize people who are less fortunate this holiday season.

“All facets of society is in here today, all eating together. It’s just one of those special days that we truly are the community and I think that’s where the police officers association here in Pismo has always looked at this as this is the one day we all share, we kick off the holiday season and we’re all together for the right reasons,” Chief of Police Jake Miller told KSBY.

They served around 3,000 meals.
