More than 1,000 PG&E customers in Atascadero are without power Wednesday morning. According to PG&E, it’s not clear what caused the power to go out.

The outage affects customers on both sides of Highway 101 from Heilmann Park to Santa Rosa Elementary School. PG&E says power is expected to be restored by noon.

In rural Arroyo Grande, 1,478 customers were reported to be without power as of 9:50 a.m.

The outage stretched from the eastern edge of the Village to Huasna Townsite Rd.

PG&E said crews were assessing the cause and there was no estimated time of restoration.

In Orcutt, two separate outages were affecting a total of about 1,500 people.  Both started shortly after 10 a.m.

One outage stretched along California Blvd. from Clark Ave. to north of Foster Rd. The second outage was along Foster Rd. east of the Orcutt Expressway.

There were also scattered outages reported around the Waller Park area.
