Police seek identity of man who stole safe from Paso Robles market

A safe was stolen from a Paso Robles business more than a month ago and now police are turning to the public for help to find the person responsible.

The incident reportedly happened on Jan. 23 at an unidentified market in Paso Robles.

Police say a man used a rock to break glass doors at the market before returning about 10 minutes later where he went inside the store and was captured on surveillance footage rolling out a safe.

He then met up with someone in a light-colored, four-door sedan and took off, according to police.
