(Update Sunday 5:27 p.m.) The man on the motorcycle suffered a broken shoulder, according to CHP.
A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital Saturday morning after a hit-and-run on Highway 101 through San Luis Obispo, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatcher.
Multiple witnesses reported the incident that happened around 10 a.m. near the Marsh Street off ramp in the southbound lane of the highway.
The extent of the victim’s injuries are unknown.
The dispatcher said the scene was cleared by 11 a.m. and the incident remains under investigation.
No description was released about the vehicle that reportedly left the scene.
