The Cuesta College Board of Trustees voted 5-0 earlier this month to implement a two-year phased permit fee increase for semester and daily parking permits which will begin to take effect this upcoming fall 2019 semester.
Student permits are currently priced at $30 per semester but will be increasing to $35 this fall 2019 and to $40 fall semester of 2020. Daily permits are currently $2 but will be going up to $3 this fall and then up to $4 in fall 2020.
Staff permits will go from $10 to $15 per semester starting fall 2019; however, fees have not yet been negotiated for fall 2020.
These fee increases will go to support parking and public safety services and ensure adequate funding for parking maintenance and public safety services on campus.
