Paso Robles gets new assistant city manager

Sarah Johnson-Rios was confirmed yesterday by Paso Robles City Council as the new Assistant City Manager.

Johnson-Rios is currently the Housing and Neighborhoods Department Operations Administrator for the city of Raleigh, North Carolina. Some of her responsibilities include overseeing three units which are responsible for housing preservation and production. Prior to her position in Raleigh, Johnson-Rios held a series of occupations with the cities of Santa Monica and Chula Vista, California.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to live, work, and serve Paso Robles,” said Johnson-Rios. “Paso’s welcoming vibe, sense of strong roots, and spirit of giving back make it a place that my family and I are eager to call home.”

Johnson-Rios is currently in the process of moving alongside her husband, Jonathan, and their two children. She will start her new role approximately August 1.
